Product Description
Ancor 12 Gauge Marine Grade Primary Wire is engineered for demanding electrical applications where durability, flexibility, and corrosion resistance are critical. Designed to exceed UL 1426, ABYC, and U.S. Coast Guard standards, this wire is widely used in marine, automotive, RV, and industrial environments.
The stranded tinned copper conductor provides superior resistance to corrosion and electrolysis compared to bare copper, making it ideal for harsh or high-moisture conditions. Ultra-flexible stranding minimizes fatigue caused by vibration and repeated movement, ensuring long service life in mobile and equipment-mounted installations.
The premium PVC insulation is rated for 600 volts and maintains flexibility in extreme cold while resisting salt water, battery acid, oil, gasoline, heat, abrasion, and ultraviolet radiation. This insulation performance makes the wire suitable for engine compartments, fuel system accessories, pumps, lighting, and general 12V and low-voltage electrical circuits. Supplied on a 25-foot spool for convenient handling and clean installations.
